Your memorable Kerala journey begins as our executive warmly welcomes you at
Ernakulam Railway Station or Kochi International Airport.
From there, we head towards the misty hills of Munnar, a charming hill station
nestled in the Western Ghats, known for its tea gardens and cool breeze.
En route, we’ll make some refreshing stops at the Cheeyappara and Valara
Waterfalls, where nature roars in beauty. You’ll also enjoy a peaceful halt at
Karadippara View Point, offering breathtaking views of the rolling green valleys.
A must-do enroute experience is a walk through a Spice Plantation, where you’ll
learn how Kerala’s world-famous spices like cardamom, pepper, and clove are
grown l a fragrant and insightful stop!
By late afternoon, we reach Munnar and check in to your hotel. After some rest,
you have the optional opportunity to attend a traditional Kathakali dance or Kalari
martial arts show – a perfect way to end your first day with a taste of Kerala’s
cultural roots.
After a tasty Kerala-style breakfast at the hotel, we’ll kickstart our day with a drive to Gap Road,
the highest point in Munnar. It’s actually located on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, and
gives you a breathtaking view of the valleys and mountains of Tamil Nadu. A perfect spot to enjoy
the cool breeze and take stunning pictures!
From there, we’ll continue exploring some of Munnar’s most famous attractions. We’ll visit the
Sunmoon Valley Point and Ellapatti View Point, both surrounded by misty hills and perfect for
relaxing and enjoying the views. Then comes the peaceful Kundala Dam, where you can try pedal
boating or just enjoy the calm atmosphere.
Next up is the popular Echo Point – shout out your name and hear it bounce back through the
hills! Just nearby is the beautiful Mattupetty Dam, known for its scenic reservoir and lush
surroundings – a great place for nature lovers and photographers.
We’ll then stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy Kerala’s authentic
flavours.
Post lunch, we’ll visit the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and
offering lovely walking trails with panoramic views. Later, we’ll explore the Tea Gardens and visit
the Photo Point, where the endless green backdrop of tea leaves is perfect for clicking memorable
photos. We’ll also cover the peaceful Botanical Garden and, for those interested, a visit to the
Elephant Camp can be arranged (optional).
By evening, we’ll head back to the hotel. After a day full of sightseeing and fun, it’s time to relax
and recharge for Day 3. 2 MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING
Munnar to Thekkady – Into the Wild
After finishing your breakfast, we’ll check out from the hotel and head towards Thekkady – one of
Kerala’s most thrilling forest destinations, known for its wildlife, spice plantations, and Periyar Tiger
Reserve.
As we drive through winding roads and scenic valleys, you’ll pass lush greenery, cardamom hills, and
calm village scenes. We’lltake a lunch break at a local spot before reaching Thekkady by afternoon.
we check into the hotel and take some rest, you’ll have the option to try some thrilling activities like:
Boating at Periyar Lake – Ride through the heart of the forest; if lucky, spot elephants, bison, and

Kathakali or Kalaripayattu Show – Experience Kerala’s traditional martial art or cultural dance in the
evening.
Spice Plantation Tour – Walk through aromatic spice gardens and learn how Kerala’s famous spices
are grown.
The day ends with a peaceful overnight stay in Thekkady, surrounded by forest air and the sounds of
nature.
After breakfast, we’ll check out from the hotel and head towards Alleppey – lovingly called
the “Venice of the East” for its tranquil backwaters and endless coconut palms. Along the
way, enjoy the scenic beauty of lush paddy fields, charming villages, and peaceful
countryside views. We’ll pause for a tasty lunch at a local restaurant en route.
By around 1:30 to 2:00 PM, we’llreach Alleppey, where you’ll check in to your houseboat
your floating home for the next 21 hours! Once on board, enjoy a welcome drink and
settle in as the boat gently cruises through the calm backwaters. A traditional Kerala-style
lunch and dinner will be served on board while you relax and soak in views of local life,
waving villagers, and swaying palms.
It’s a magical, slow-paced experience that shows you the most peaceful side of Kerala. After
sunset, the boat anchors for the night, giving you time to unwind and sleep under the stars.
The next day, enjoy breakfast on the boat before check-out – refreshed and ready for your
onward journey.
After a delicious Kerala-style breakfast, we’ll check out of the
houseboat and begin our journey to Thiruvananthapuram.
En route, we offer an optional stop based on your preference – either
Jatayu Earth’s Centre, home to the world’s largest bird sculpture and
adventure park, or the serene Varkala Beach, known for its cliffs,
waves, and soulful vibes.
By evening, we’ll reach Thiruvananthapuram, where you’ll experience
the divine with a peaceful darshan at the iconic Shree
Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of India’s richest and most spiritual
temples.
After a delicious breakfast, we’ll assist with your departure based on your travel plans.
You can choose to be dropped off at Thiruvananthapuram Railway Station or Airport, or if
preferred, we’llmake our way back to Kochi, where drop-off will be arranged at the railway
station or airport.
As your memorable journey through Kerala comes to an end, you’ll carry home the warmth,
beauty, and serenity of God’s Own Country.
